Pride Home Warranty is one of the cheapest home warranties we’ve reviewed so far. Plan premiums start as low as $25 per month.
However, prices vary by the location and square footage of your house. You’ll have to submit your contact information online to receive the most accurate quote for the type of home you have and the area in which you live.
In addition to competitive plan pricing, Pride Home Warranty charges the lowest service fee we’ve seen yet. Customers will pay only $45 per claim. You’ll save $30—or more—per claim, as most service fees range from $75 to $125.
So, how does this deal get even sweeter? Pride won’t charge customers a second service fee for repeat visits. Parts are guaranteed for 90 days and labor is guaranteed for 30 days. That means that if you file a claim for a broken dishwasher and Pride’s technician repairs it, but it breaks again two weeks later, you’ll receive a second service for free.

After a 30-day waiting period, Pride Home Warranty coverage is effective for 365 days before customers are eligible for automatic renewal.

Additionally, customers may cancel their service agreement at any time. If you paid an annual premium at the beginning of your contract, you’ll receive a prorated refund for the amount of coverage you haven’t used. Pride Home Warranty’s cancellation fee is $75, which is standard for most home warranty companies.

There are three ways to submit a service request:
Pride Home Warranty will assign a pre-approved service provider to your home within two business days (turnaround times may be longer outside of business hours and on holidays). It is within the company’s discretion to deem a claim an emergency. You’ll pay the service provider your service fee of $45 or for the amount of the service—whichever is less. As mentioned above, Pride guarantees parts for 90 days and labor for 30 days.
Note: You should not hire your own contractor to fix a problem covered by your home warranty. You will not receive a reimbursement for services provided by a professional outside of Pride Home Warranty’s network.

Other review sites give Pride Home Warranty an overall score of 4 out of 5—this is thanks to Pride’s low service fee, positive customer reviews, 24/7 claims processing, and frequent promotions.
To be honest, this is a bit fuzzy. We chatted with a Pride Home Warranty employee who said the company has been around for about three years. However, the Better Business Bureau reports that Pride has only been operating for a year. Meanwhile, other reviews sites show that Pride has been around for a decade. House Method will continue to investigate and we’ll update our review as soon as we get valid information.
House Method’s verdict on Pride Home Warranty is that it’s 4 out of 5 stars. We love how accessible Pride Home Warranty plans are. Customers have three options that are priced competitively low with even cheaper service fees. With such affordable prices, we almost can’t believe how generous Pride’s pay-out limits are (between $750 and $3,000 per claim). But the icing on the cake is Pride Home Warranty’s customer service. Its sales representatives aren’t pushy and really focus their pitch on the customer’s needs, wants, and budget. And its responsive customer service processes claims 24/7, so when something breaks, you know that it won’t be long before it’s fixed.
