The ITC is a tax credit that homeowners in Colorado (and other states) can claim on federal income taxes for a percentage of the amount of money it takes to run a solar panel system. To be eligible, the energy-saving system must be installed during the tax year and generate electricity for a home (or homes) in the United States.
