Summary

The Zenhaven by Saatva mattress is an all-natural latex mattress made of 100% latex, organic cotton, and organic New Zealand wool. From top to bottom, the 10-inch mattress includes:

  • An organic, quilted cotton cover
  • A double-sided, organic wool layer that’s flame-retardant and made up of 100% organic New Zealand wool, which adds breathability and moisture-wicking properties
  • A latex “5-zone” comfort layer that features a proprietary 5-zone design and gives you firmer support where you need it for the ultimate comfort in spinal alignment
  • Latex support cores that are made up of 100% Talalay latex (not synthetic or petroleum-based foam) for healthy sleep and more resilient support

Saatva also offers their Lineal Adjustable Base. This remote-controlled adjustable base comes with under-bed lighting, massaging functions, and “Zero-G Support.”

Firmness

The Zenhaven comes in two firmness levels—Luxury Plush and Gentle Firm. The Luxury Plush mattress falls around a 4– 5 out of 10 on the firmness scale. The Gentle Firm side is 18% firmer than Luxury Plush, for those who want a slightly firmer feel. It is a 7–8 on the firmness scale.

The Zenhaven mattress has a proprietary five-zone latex comfort layer created by varying the distribution and width of the pinholes in the latex during the molding process. The five distinct density zones allow for more support between torso and shoulders and more subtle support everywhere else. The mattress accommodates pressure points to alleviate pressure on the spine.

Shipping

  • Zenhaven offers one shipping option that begins at $99, but additional fees may be added depending on where you live in the United States. Final costs will be calculated at checkout.
  • Zenhaven delivers your mattress, sets it up for you, and removes your old mattress for free. In fact, they will remove up to two mattresses (two items, actually, so you may prefer to have them remove your old mattress and your old mattress foundation) for free.

Returns

  • Zenhaven offers a 120-day home trial period.
  • If you are not satisfied with your mattress, Zenhaven will remove it for free.
  • Zenhaven does reimburse for the initial shipping cost.

Warranty

Zenhaven offers a 20-year warranty. If your mattress is defective within the first two years, Zanhaven will replace it for free. After the first two years, Zenhaven will repair and recover your mattress for a $99 delivery fee each way.

Zenhaven also provides a “Fairness Replacement Option.” Because a lot of people end up having mattress companies contest their claims against the warranty, Zenhaven allows you to determine whether or not your mattress is defective and won’t contest it. They’ll replace it for free for the first two years, at 25% of the original price from years 3–5, at 50% of the original price from years 6–10, and at 75% of the original price from years 11–20.

Great mattress! It is softer, the way I like it. No more neck and back pains in the morning. Customer service very good, delivery flawless, setup team very efficient and polite. Two thumbs up!” — Margit

We bought a latex mattress back in September and it is the best mattress I’ve ever slept on! I think it is a little ‘warm’ but much better than memory foam. We really appreciate it after staying in a hotel for a night or two – can’t wait to get home to our bed.” — Linda
