Summary

Tango offers a unique, two-sided mattress. There is a firm side and a plush side, so you can sleep firm side up if you prefer extra support or plush side up for a softer feel. Its components include (from firm to soft):

  1. A thin firm top layer of foam—This layer offers just a bit of give, so the mattress isn’t too firm.
  2. A “second” layer of firm polyurethane foam—This is the true support layer.
  3. A base layer of foam—Unlike most foam mattresses, this dense support layer is in the middle, not on the bottom of the mattress.
  4. A “second” layer of plush polyurethane foam—This layer is supportive enough to hold your body up, but soft enough to cradle your shoulders, hips, and knees.
  5. A plush top layer—This is the softest layer of memory foam on the mattress. It is also gel-infused to disperse body heat.

Why Tango gets a perfect score

Tango’s two-sided mattress has two comfort preferences—“cushion firm” on one side, “plush” on the other—so that “just right” feeling is available for over 95% of sleepers. Tango also has a proprietary combination of materials that provides the same core support for either side, but customers get to choose the feel that’s perfect for them.

Each Tango mattress is built using CertiPUR-US certified foams; this certification guarantees that Tango mattresses are made without ozone depleters, PBDEs, flame retardants, mercury, lead, and other harmful chemicals. All Tango Mattresses are produced in a low-emissions factory in Chicago, Illinois where all efforts are taken to reduce the carbon footprint of production.

And with a 120-night sleep trial , free shipping, and a 10-year warranty, it’s no wonder Tango receives a 5-star rating from House Method.

This is my second mattress in a box, and while I had to return the previous one, this one is a keeper. I can honestly say that since day one I have had the most comfortable sleep, similar to a high end hotel. I experience no pressure points on my shoulder and hip and sleep deeply through the night(no tossing and turning) on the soft side. It totally exceeded my expectations and I am VERY picky. A+ Thanks guys, I will recommend you and will definitely buy my next mattress from you.” — Deborah Koscin

We’ve been pretty impressed so far. I’m a side sleeper and my partner is a stomach sleeper. The cushion firm side has met both our expectations. The box is heavy but we expected that from a king mattress. Wish they made pillows.” — Frank
