Aptive Environmental Review (2020)

Pests can be a constant nuisance in your home, and it seems that they make their way back inside month after month. Taking this recurring issue to mind, Aptive Environmental offers proactive seasonal protection for your property.

There are many options when it comes to pest control services, and it takes time to do the proper research when finding the right provider. House Method has investigated Aptive’s services and provided a summary of the business to help you determine if they’re the best pest control provider for your home.

Aptive Environmental services

Aptive simplifies pest control with just one comprehensive pest control option: the Four Seasons Protection Plan. This plan is designed to provide both active and preventative treatment. It includes an initial visit followed by quarterly applications once per season.

Aptive prides itself in using an environmentally friendly approach for all treatments and services. Its mission is to keep both your home and the environment protected throughout their process. The products used are child- and pet-friendly and naturally created, reducing toxicity levels.

Pests treated by Aptive

  • Ants
  • Cockroaches
  • Spiders
  • Rodents
  • Centipedes
  • Fleas
  • Mud daubers
  • Scorpions
  • Ticks
  • Wasps
  • Yellow jackets
  • Grain beetles
  • Granary and rice weevils
  • Meal moths
  • Aphids
  • Crickets
  • Earwigs
  • Millipedes
  • Pill bugs
  • Silverfish
  • Snails

All of Aptive’s offerings are included in this basic plan. Unlike its competitors, Aptive does not offer additional services such as termite or bed bug removal.

The initial visit includes both an interior and exterior inspection. This will allow the technician to develop a tailored plan for your property. They will also treat all cracks and crevices, spider webs and wasp nests, and treat the foundation of your home as well as your garage.

This plan guarantees the removal of pests within 30 feet of your home. The products are designed to withstand weather and will not wash away in the rain. While most follow-up visits will treat the exterior, the technician will examine and treat the inside of your home as needed.

Aptive will provide follow-up visits at no additional charge if you run into any issues between scheduled service appointments.

One downside of the environmentally safe treatment process is that it cannot eliminate existing eggs. According to Aptive, there are no products on the market powerful enough to penetrate eggs that also meet their safety standards. However, if eggs are identified, Aptive will return within 30 to 45 days to kill any hatched eggs and surviving pests.
