One Laundry Room to Rule Them All

By: Matilda Davies

A few months ago, we toured a fully flipped Charlotte, North Carolina, colonial turned craftsman. One nugget of this tour that we didn’t fully feature (and shame on us), is the homeowners’ marvelous laundry room. A backsplash of black-grouted white subway tile, blonde countertops, and a black slate floor keep this room feeling crisp and clean. It’s not often that we can say a laundry room is truly beautiful, but this one earns the title.

I love that detergents are kept in apothecaric glass jars and that the room is left otherwise sparse. The little bin for lost socks is a lovely touch as well.
