HomeGuard coverage is the most comprehensive protection a OneGuard customer can receive. Here’s everything included under that plan:
In addition to the above warranty plans, OneGuard also offers a wide range of optional coverage based on the plan you choose:
OneGuard home warranty coverage lasts for the standard 12 months with the option to renew at the end of the year. If the service contract is cancelled within 30 days of the effective date, the contract holder is entitled to a full refund of contract fees unless any claims costs or unpaid service fees incurred. If cancelled after 30 days of the effective date, the contract holder is entitled to a pro-rata refund of the plan fee plus a $50 administration fee.
Like all home warranty companies, there are coverage limits and caps to services provided on systems and appliances. OneGuard will provide repairs or replacements of covered items that break down due to normal wear and tear during the warranty contract period. Any items that are broken due to improper use or care or were malfunctioning prior to the contract coverage period will not be covered. Additionally, any mechanical parts or components that don’t contribute to the primary function of the system or appliance won’t be covered.
Note: There are coverage limitations and exceptions described per item in a sample contract, so it would be helpful to diligently comb through each item and speak with a OneGuard representative to ensure you fully comprehend what is and is not covered.
OneGuard’s home warranty and home services vary by state, although prices are somewhat similar. Prices range from $25 to $56 per month depending on the state you live in and the plan you choose.
|Texas Pricing||Arizona Pricing||Nevada Pricing|
|ApplianceGuard||$30 per month||$29 per month||$25 per month|
|SystemsGuard||$44 per month||$38 per month||$34 per month|
|HomeGuard||$56 per month||$50 per month||$50 per month|
OneGuard also charges a $69 service fee which is slightly below the industry standard, as most home warranty service fees range between $75–$125.

“You don’t want to be without an A/C in summer in Texas. OneGuard took care of me and followed up to make sure my repairs [were] done. Yes it was. I just went online today to see if I could get a maintenance/tune up and Trisha ** via chat helped me to set up an appointment easily with no need for me to call in. She was polite and very helpful in answering my questions. I’ve been a customer for years and I am really glad they have my back. They do need more options on their service request website, but I am happy the chat room works.”

“Recently my hot water heater went out […] A guy came out and looked at it. 48 hours later, I had a new hot water heater. I plan on continuing with OneGuard. They’ve been really easy to use. In both times we submitted a claim, they got somebody out fast and got the problem taken care of with minimal effort on our side.”
