Products under the Honeywell Home warranty are covered starting on the date of purchase. Warranties from other departments start the warranty on the date of purchase, installation, shipment, or manufacture. If there is a defect in the workmanship or material—under normal use and service—Honeywell determines whether it should be repaired or replaced (not the customer).
If you have a defective product, you can either return it to where you purchased it or call Honeywell Customer Care or Honeywell’s Customer Service for that department. When you call, request a Repair Maintenance Authorization (RMA) number. Also, have your customer ID, product’s type, a brief description of the issue, and your serial number, date code, and/or proof-of-purchase when you call.
